DOHE and Dr playbreaker® sign a strategic agreement for the distribution of Playmobil® licensed school products in the toy retail channel
The alliance strengthens Playmobil’s® presence in the educational sector and expands the Dr playbreaker® offering by integrating sustainability, circular economy and hands-on learning.
DOHE, a leading company in the design and manufacture of school supplies licensed by Playmobil®, and Dr playbreaker®, specialised in promoting circular economy in the toy sector, announce a collaboration agreement for the exclusive distribution of DOHE’s Playmobil® school products in the toy retail channel by Dr playbreaker®. While DOHE will continue distributing through bookstores, stationery shops and the traditional channel, Dr playbreaker® becomes the exclusive distributor for toy stores, reinforcing its educational and sustainable offering within the Playmobil® universe.
This agreement marks a milestone in the sector, as it brings together two complementary lines: DOHE’s wide range of educational and school material such as planners, notebooks, pencil cases, organisational products and stationery with official Playmobil® licence, and the mission of Dr playbreaker® to promote circular economy in the toy world through workshops, part recovery, charity collection initiatives and training activities. The alliance opens the door for Playmobil® school products to be integrated into educational activities, environmental workshops and learning projects led by Dr playbreaker®.
Dr playbreaker®, known for its toy recovery, recycling and reuse programmes, as well as for the playbreaker® tool designed to dismantle and repair Playmobil® figures, now incorporates an official school catalogue that strengthens its educational strategy. Its workshops, which have already trained hundreds of children in circular economy, toy safety and responsible collection, will gain new support material for schools, associations and organisations involved in environmental awareness.
The sustainability initiatives promoted by Dr playbreaker® have grown significantly in recent years, positioning the project as an educational agent thanks to its presence at well-known Playmobil exhibitions and fairs. In 2024 and 2025 alone, it has taken its workshops to major events such as the Playmobil Exhibition in Gandía (with hundreds of visitors and massive participation in its activities) and the 3rd and 4th Playmobil Exhibitions in Carcaixent, both focused on sustainability, solidarity and raising awareness about toy recycling. At these events, children have been able to dismantle, repair and rebuild Playmobil® figures, learn about the use of recycled plastics, waste separation and the value of giving toys a second life.
Thanks to this alliance, both DOHE and Dr playbreaker® move towards a more solid, sustainable and learning-driven commercial model that connects with new generations. The union of both reinforces the message that play, education and sustainability can go hand in hand, offering families, toy stores and educational centres new opportunities to learn, play and care for the planet.
