What does it mean for playbreaker® to be a sustainable tool?
sustainable playbreaker has been certified by the international certification body TÜV Austria, to ensure that the playbreaker product contains 100% recycled plastic according to the European Standard EN 15343.
Is sustainable playbreaker® safe?
sustainable playbreaker has been tested by an external laboratory accredited by ENAC (National Accreditation Entity) and complies with the Directive 2009/48/EC on toy safety.
How is sustainable playbreaker® manufactured?
When a defective product is detected in the plastic injection process, it is removed and delivered to an authorized recycled plastic waste manager.
The material used to manufacture sustainable playbreaker® comes from recycled plastic material obtained through a process of selecting, separating, categorizing and shredding defective or non-usable materials. This recycled plastic material is then packaged and labeled for futher use.
The recycled plastic material is then used in the injection process to manufacture the sustainable playbreaker® tool.
Where does the material used to manufacture sustainable playbreaker® come from?
During the production process of plastic toys or other products, plastic waste is generated, which is typically discarded. Instead of throwing away this waste, the specialized manager collects and recycles it to obtain new raw material for the production of toys or other products.
The original plastic comes from the plastic injection and blow molding company Vicedo Martí, located in Ibi (Alicante). The material is obtained from parts of products from their PractiMan range, basic CPR simulators. When a part of the product is detected as defective by the quality department, it is removed and sent to a specialized manager, which is responsible for shredding, classifying, packaging, and labeling it for subsequent use as recycled plastic material (PIR).
This material is used in the injection process again for the manufacture of sustainable playbreaker®, maintaining the same color as the original material. By using this PIR material, the company reduces its environmental impact by using fewer raw materials and, therefore, producing less waste.
playbreaker®: disassembling clicks has never been easier.
As you may already know, playbreaker® is a sustainable tool designed for repairing Playmobil® figures, allowing you to disassemble a defective figure, remove the damaged parts, and replace them with undamaged parts without harming the figure at any point.
The goal of playbreaker®, therefore, is sustainability in the world of toys. To achieve this, playbreaker® has taken a step further and is made with post-industrial recycled plastic material (PIR).
